Invite Canada’s Leaders to The New Gold Standard

We’re Inviting Canada’s Leaders to the Conversation

The Canadian premiere of The New Gold Standard is more than a film screening. It is an opportunity to have an important conversation about the future of science, innovation and animals in research.

The Beagle Alliance is inviting Premier Doug Ford and Members of Parliament from across Canada to join us on October 3rd in Toronto.

We are encouraging policymakers to consider the development of clearer, consistent pathways for companion animals to be released from research facilities and placed into appropriate homes or sanctuaries when scientifically and ethically appropriate.

AND to dedicate funding and investment into reliable and qualified rescue organizations for rehoming, as well as into the development and adoption of non-animal research methods, including emerging human-relevant technologies.

For The Beagle Alliance, these two issues are connected by a shared vision:

Better outcomes for both humans and animals.

We are asking Canadians to reach out to their elected representatives and invite them to attend this special screening and be part of the conversation. Go ahead and copy the above statements and kindly ask in your own words, so that we can see more animals go from LAB to LOVE!

Please consider speaking with your MP about animal free science. These innovative methods have already proven to be more effective for humans, less expensive - and of course would save the lives of so many animals.
