You won’t want to miss out!
Executive Director Lori Cohen announces the release of two former research beagles from a Canadian laboratory.
Leonard and Suzuki – Two beagles named after inspiring Canadians from the East and the West. Because it will take this entire country to know, to act, and to UNITE together to make change for animals in research in Canada.
Dedicated to J, to C and to S – and friends who literally saved these souls. XOXO
The Beagle Alliance continues to advocate for the release of animals from testing facilities in Canada. Leonard and Suzuki are 2 of 4 beagles now living in freedom after the lab – in Canada.
Through collaboration and community outreach, The Beagle Alliance has been apart of placing over 90 former research beagles from U.S. facilities into loving homes, and we are working on rescues right now.
In 2023, over 16,000 dogs were used in Canadian laboratories and over 50,000 thousand in U.S. facilities. We believe that most of these dogs can go from Lab to Love!
OH CANADA – we start by ending testing on dogs – we finish by ending testing on all animals.
JOIN US – for them.
Please consider speaking with your MP about animal free science. These innovative methods have already proven to be more effective for humans, less expensive - and of course would save the lives of so many animals.
10 Former Research Beagles will find new homes in Canada. The Beagle Alliance is looking for foster/adopters in Canada and U.S.
We are funded by donations, grants and fundraisers.
