The Dishcloth Damsel – St. Norbert’s Farmers’ Market

There’s something quietly powerful about a community coming together over simple things… warm conversations, handmade goods, and a shared love for animals. On April 11th, that kind of magic will be alive and well at the St. Norbert Farmers’ Market—and we couldn’t be more excited to be part of it.

For the second time, the wonderfully generous The Dishcloth Damsel is turning everyday essentials into extraordinary impact by donating proceeds from her sales to the The Beagle Alliance. It’s the kind of partnership that feels like a warm cup of tea on a chilly prairie morning—simple, heartfelt, and deeply meaningful.

We’ll be there too, setting up our space not just as a booth, but as a conversation hub. A place where stories are shared, questions are welcomed, and awareness begins to bloom. We’ll have information about animals in research, along with some cozy merchandise—mugs for your morning coffee, toques for those brisk Manitoba winds—and, of course, plenty of beagle talk.

Because if there’s one thing we never run out of, it’s love for the dogs.

Behind every wagging tail is a story. Some begin in laboratories, in places far removed from the comforts of home. But thanks to a growing community of compassionate people, those stories don’t end there. They turn. They soften. They transform into something beautiful—into second chances, into couch naps, into lives filled with love – LAB to LOVE.

That’s what events like this are really about.

So whether you come for the market, the handmade goods, or just a Saturday outing, we invite you to stop by, say hello, and be part of something bigger. Ask questions. Share stories. Learn a little. Feel a lot.

Join us on April 11th at the St. Norbert Farmers’ Market. Let’s talk about beagles, about hope, and about how a community—one conversation and ONE BEAGLE at a time—can change lives.
