Lori Cohen, Founder and Executive Director, shares the updates we’ve received concerning the beagles at St. Joseph’s. Over the past weekend, many of you have reached out with concerns and questions, and I wanted to share what we know, what’s happening, and where we’re heading next.
Let’s talk about the beagles’ current environment. The dogs are being cared for by a team of veterinary staff and animal care workers. Everyone at St. Joseph’s involved in their care has assured us of their commitment to keeping the dogs comfortable, healthy, and free from distress.
To everyone who’s reached out—thank you! The outpouring of support, your emails, your messages of concern and encouragement, have been truly moving. Many have even wanted to protest at St. Joseph’s, but I want to underline something important – the lines of communication with St. Joseph’s are now open.

Please consider speaking with your MP about animal free science. These innovative methods have already proven to be more effective for humans, less expensive - and of course would save the lives of so many animals.
