Release of the St. Joseph Dogs

Transparency, Hope, and the Journey from LAB to LOVE

If you’re reading this, you probably already know a little bit about what’s been happening lately with rescues, animal advocacy, and a whirlwind of updates from labs, shelters, and organizations working to protect the most vulnerable animals in Canada.

Today, I want to give a really open, detailed look at what’s been happening with the recent St. Joseph’s dogs, the rescue process, and what it means for transparency in animal testing and advocacy in Canada. This isn’t just about one group of dogs—it’s about the whole community of fosters, supporters, adopters, and organizations that make this hard work possible.

Thank you to everyone who has stood by The Beagle Alliance and our methods – through the tough times and triumphs. Rescue is never simple and not one individual or organization can do everything. This is the village we speak of – we all have our roles and we are grateful for the support.

We’re going to keep doing what we do and we know you’re with us. It is hard to think about the thousands of lives lost, but important to focus on those we can offer freedom to – and so we march on – ONE BEAGLE AT A TIME!

So here’s to transparency, to partnership, to collaboration and to the animals that we will go from LAB to LOVE.

Thanks, everyone.

Please consider speaking with your MP about animal free science. These innovative methods have already proven to be more effective for humans, less expensive - and of course would save the lives of so many animals.
