UPCOMING EVENTS
It was a cloudy, but humid day in Manitoba.
Slightly rainy, exceedingly sticky, incredibly beagly.
Most had been released from the laboratory for a year or more, some had been dumped after use in hunting – all were happy to sniff each other and us.
It was an honour to be in a space with the very dogs who still struggle with trust, but do their best to receive the love and peace we have to give.
WE WILL DO THIS EVERY YEAR IN AUGUST in honour of what these survivors go through and to let them know that they can overcome the PTSD and anxiety that plagues them after use in science.
They can go from LAB to LOVE and when they do, they transform, they forgive and they trust. NOW that’s a YOGA practice.
Thank you to Pam and Cindy for creating this event and offering their time. Thank you to all of our volunteers and participants, we couldn’t have done it without you.
