To the loves of our life, Barkley, Freya, Tanna & all the dogs we’ve fostered.
You are the reason I’m here today. You were the biggest supports through the loss we have faced over the last few years.
Barkley – the dog I got in my 20s. As you near 11 my heart breaks daily knowing our time is slowly coming to an end. Thank you, my baby boy, for the best years of my life. I am lucky to have all the time I possibly can with you.
Tanna Banana – though we have only had you for 3 years, we hope they have made up for the 3 years prior of abuse. We try everyday to remind you that you are our sweetheart and how deeply loved you are.
Freya – You princess. You run the roost, and you have your daddy wrapped around your finger. Though covid testing may be a thing of the past, you still stick your nose up there to make sure we are always healthy. Your kisses and cuddles mean the world to us and it is not a good day without them.
To our foster babies: though you may not have been ours forever, we will love you forever. We miss you all and we love the pupdates your parents send us. They truly make what we do, and the bittersweet moments when you leave, worth every second.
And a little love letter for lori – you are a superhero, and we are so thankful to be fosters/transport crew for all the dogs.
