2025 – A Year in Review

Collaboration, Community and Compassion

It was a big year for The Beagle Alliance in 2025. Over 50 former research dogs, countless miles, a million smiles, and so many more tears of joy. We collaborated, we partnered up and we came together in unity as a nation and as a continent, for the dogs and for the animals in research. In 2025, dogs were the topic of conversation in the world of animal testing. And we kept that conversation going.

The Lab Love Liberty 50 Dog Rescue was life changing and life saving. The dogs in research were a focus within the media and with advocates across North America. And we strengthened our belief that it’s our collective love for dogs that will spark change for all animals in research across this country and beyond. We spoke, we attended events, held events and won an Award. In 2025, we laid a foundation for change and built a foundation for the dogs.

We saw our first dogs released from Canadian facilities and we honoured the people who stood up for the dogs and who are still standing up alongside of us and all of the other incredible organizations in Canada and the us. It was a year of collaboration, community and compassion. When we look into the faces of our dogs, we see the very hope that The Beagle Alliance has for 2026. A place where change will happen. A place where we work together and where the love for our dogs will move us to act.

To the incredible supporters, donors, volunteers, fosters and adopters, it is because of you that 2025 was a big year for The Beagle Alliance. As we reflect with gratitude, we realize that it wasn’t all of the things we did in 2025, it was who we did them with. Thank you.

Please consider speaking with your MP about animal free science. These innovative methods have already proven to be more effective for humans, less expensive - and of course would save the lives of so many animals.
