2022 – A Year in Review

In 2022 we became an alliance, building a community in Canada and in the U.S.

Because Dogs Know No Borders, and WE are their voice.

In 2022 we partnered up – and created relationships.

We found loving homes for 5 beagles rescued from the Envigo breeding facility, and held an event in Toronto to welcome our sweet survivor.

In 2022 we started monthly town hall meetings and even a workshop,
where we shared stories and learned from experts, where we laughed and we cried, where we made new friends.

In 2022 we sponsored and spoke at the Animal Justice Law Conference,
where we talked about the trauma suffered by the testing survivors, but also about the happy endings!

We toured the Canadian Centre for Alternatives to Animal Methods,
and strengthened our mission to advocate for non-animal use in research by speaking to students.

We advocated for cruelty free living!

And in 2022 we sent dozens of emails and letters to research facilities across Canada asking them to release animals to us.

This year, we saved lives,
and created families, and became a family!

And just when we thought the year had ended, we received a call.
AND WE SAID YES!

And with our rescue partner Cage to Couch, we rescued many beagles from a laboratory and brought them a home for the holidays.
It was a true Christmas Miracle!

In Year 1 – THANKS TO YOU! Our donors, our volunteers, our fosters, our adopters, our partners, our supporters, OUR COMMUNITY. YOU!

Please consider speaking with your MP about animal free science. These innovative methods have already proven to be more effective for humans, less expensive - and of course would save the lives of so many animals.
